A project formed between Cafe Del Mar’s resident DJ Bruno Lepretre and Vargo producer Ansgar Ueffink. 'island memories'. This debut single, featuring the spoken vocals of French model Florence Chicault, is all about the magic of the island. It describes a moment of goodbye, a woman is sitting on the beach writing to her lover, remembering the wonderful times they shared together.

The outfit was started by Cal Gibson and Sime White, two Nottingham-based DJs who met on a sound engineering course. Together with the vocals of Zoe Johnson – who sound like a cross between Joni Mitchell and Tracey Thorn – they make tracks ranging from lush deep house to blessed-out Balearic song.

ROY DAVIS JR – If You Wanna

Raised in Chicago, Roy Davis Jr. was introduced to dance music by the Chicago House pioneers such as Lil Louis and Farley Jackmaster Funk. He made the pilgrimage to New York to work for one of the biggest house labels of all time (Strictly Rhythm) and there has since been producing a steady stream of soulful house music gems.

London natives Geoff Wilkinson and Mel Simpson had a simple idea: sample their favourite jazz albums to make new dance music. With an astute use of sampling Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe Island", a cool cut rapping over a funky groove, they made the 1994 global hit single "Cantaloop".

Carolyn Leonhart began recording television commercials in grade school, and was a soloist in her high school gospel choir, and sat in to sing with her father, jazz bassist Jay Leonhart, at his Sunday brunch gigs at Manhattan’s Blue Note club. Together with her Swiss pop group – a quartet led by her husband - Leonhart croons songs about the loss of love and alienation in the modern world.

Praful is a native German who moved to Holland at the age of 23 to study at the Amsterdam School of Arts. There he studied saxophone and flute before disappearing for some soul-searching at an Indian ashram as well as in Brazil. When he returned, he was newly inspired, combining work with Indian, African, and Brazilian musicians with newly spawned electronic musical styles such as trip hop & drum ‘n’ bass.
